In the app
Open Looped, go to Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account, then confirm. It takes effect straight away.
Without the app
Email info@loopedin.ie from the address you sign in with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
If you only want to stop caddying at one club, ask that club to remove you from its caddie list. Your details at that club are deleted straight away, and your account stays open for any other clubs.
What's deleted
- Your sign-in account: your email address, your password if you set one, and the name and profile photo we received from Google if you signed in that way.
- Your place on every club's caddie list: your name, email address and level.
- Your availability at every club, including whether you were marked as always available.
- The registration that lets us send notifications to your phone.
What's kept
- Records of rounds you caddied stay with the club, but with your name replaced by "Former caddie". Each club chooses how long it keeps these records (from 3 months to indefinitely).
- Notices sent to a club when you cancelled a bag, including any reason you gave, are kept for the same period that club has chosen.
- Payment records for any fees you paid are held by our payment provider, Stripe, for as long as the law requires.
You can't be deleted while you have confirmed bags coming up. Cancel them in the app first, or ask your club to.
